Abstract
An innovative, uncomplicated, accurate, and precise reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography method has been established for the determination of Vildagliptin in its bulk form and in pharmaceuticals. The separation was realized on a mobile phase of acetonitrile: ammonium dihydrogen phosphate (10: 90, v/v). The detection was achieved at 200 nm and the flow rate was 1.5 mL.min-1. Under the optimized conditions, short retention times (~3.5 min) were attained. Such a value permits for the rapid determination of multiple samples within a minimal timeframe, enhancing the efficiency of the analytical process. In such a way, the assay should be economical and can be used feasibly in routine pharmaceutical analysis. Furthermore, the limit of detection and limit of quantification values were 1.158 μg.mL-1 and 3.509 μg.mL-1 respectively, indicating a sensitive determination. Finally, the method has proven to be linear in the range of 40-160 μg.mL-1, demonstrating its reliability and robustness for consistent analytical performance.
